Dr Ruth Tapsell is an outstanding, phenomenal doctor! Everyone wants her as not all the doctors (especially certain male doctors) are as compassionate, caring, empathetic, supportive, engaged, take the time to truly understand your ailment & investigate all necessary pathways. And she’s just extremely skilled at things like taking blood (no one else can get mine!) & knowledgeable. One of the most intelligent people you ca. meet, borderline genius if you ask me. She reads your file before entering to make sure she knows exactly what drugs you are taking in order to avoid prescribing ones that interact badly. How anyone can memorise all those names & know exactly what each do & how they work together is incredible! She’s not one of those ‘google search’ doctors & most of all is not patronising, impatient & doesn’t speak to you like a child unlike another at Hartland Surgery.

We are so lucky to have a Medical Practice as we have in Hartland, ALL the staff have so much time for everyone.
