Went to witness the recent storm activity in January. Very dramatic indeed. If you want good walking activities and a good pub meal after, this is your go to place

Amazing location, friendly staff and fantastic customer service/room service. Had a meal in the Wreckers retreat bar and it was great!
Kids had a lot of fun!
Would definitely recommend it!
Walkability: A lot of areas to walk and visit .. however, the mountainous nature makes it challenging for families with babies!

Whilst visiting Hartland we stopped off for some lunch. The staff were helpful and friendly but the food was a little over priced and disappointing.
The views are amazing so I can only imagine what they are like from the room 😍.

A very picturesque pub with lots of history in a beautiful location. The hotel has a good outlook over the sea, when the sea is rough and the waves crash on the rocks, the best place to be is watching from the wreckers retreat bar.
All in all a great place to be.
It's right on the south west coastal path and a good place to stop and rest.

Stopped here for a night on the SWCP. Although right down by the cause meant a walk down and back up in the morning, I’d still recommend stopping here. The food was lovely and the service was great. We had no complaints about the room and the breakfast in the morning was lovely.

The staff at the Hartland Quay were friendly and nice, creating a welcoming atmosphere. They ensured that our drinks arrived promptly, enhancing our overall enjoyment of our lunch.
Speaking of lunch, the fish and chips I ordered were delicious. The crispy batter and nice chips made for a satisfying meal.
Now, let’s talk about the location. I had the privilege of being seated at table 19, which I believe is the best seat in the house. The view from there was simply breathtaking, overlooking the majestic rocks and the expansive sea. It added a remarkable touch to the lunch.
In conclusion, the Hartland Quay Hotel offers a remarkable dining experience. With friendly staff, prompt service, delectable food—especially the fish and chips—and an extraordinary view from table 19, it is definitely a place worth visiting. I highly recommend it.
Noteworthy details: The views out to sea and down the rocky coast are fantastic.
